Dayareli

Dayareli is 17 years old and is in ninth grade. This is her fourth year at Chispas of Change. Dayareli likes to spend time with her friends and her teacher, Mrs. Gaby. She says that Mrs. Gaby understands her and is very trustworthy. She also likes learning about the Bible at Chispas.

Dayareli lives with Estuardo and Callie. She says that she feels good living at their house because it is a safe place. After school and on the weekends, Dayareli works as a barista at the local coffee shop. In her free time, she likes to walk around the park and eat snacks with her friends. On Sundays, she likes to go to church with her foster sisters, Alejandra and Celia. Dayareli’s favorite foods are pepian and estofado.

Dayareli wants to be a chef when she grows up. She is a great cook! Her goal for this year is to finish middle school and then go to Antigua for high school next year.
