Kimberly

Kimberly is 12 years old and is in kindergarten. This is her second year at Chispas of Change. Her identical twin sister, Joseline, is also a Chispas student. Kimberly’s favorite parts of Chispas are recess, PE class, Mama Lily’s cooking, and playing with her friend, Ilma.

Kimberly lives with her sister and her foster parents, Gaby (Chispas teacher) and Lester. After school, she likes to hand wash her clothes and dishes, clean the house, and play in her hammock. She also likes to visit Tía Callie’s house and wash her dishes. On the weekends, she likes to go to church and spend time with her Tía Callie. Kimberly’s favorite food is pepian.

When she grows up, Kimberly wants to be a cook like Mama Lily. Her goal for this year is to learn to read and write!
