Words of Gratitude from our Students
Would you like to know what our students think about their experience at Chispas of Change? Here are a few quotes from the letters our students wrote to their sponsors this week. I think this really reflects the fruit the Lord is producing in our students' hearts through the leadership of our teachers. The letters will be mailed out over the next couple of weeks! In the meantime, I hope that you will be encouraged by these testimonies:
I feel very happy because now I believe in myself. I know that someday I will achieve my dreams in the name of Jesus. I am thankful for Chispas of Change because now I feel like a different person. Now I have goals and the desire to move up in life. I like Bible Class because they talk about God and that helps me to get closer to him. I still have a hard time understanding certain things, but I know that someday God will give me the wisdom that I need to understand.
~ Dora, age 17
Thanks to your donations, I can have healthy food in my belly. May God bless you, and may he provide for you even more than what you have provided for me.
~ Jorge, age 11
I want Guatemala to be a place free from crime. I want to help people that live in the streets and don’t have anything to eat. I will help them. In the future, I want to move up in life. I want to build a house to take in people from the streets and give them a place to stay, give them education, and that way they can move up in life. They will become capable people and they will be able to say, “I reached my goal!”
~ Luis, age 13
Thanks to you, I can make the dreams and goals I have in my mind a reality. Here at Chispas of Change, I feel very loved by my teacher, my classmates, and by you. May God bless you.
~ Pedro, age 15
I am learning many valuable things like giving up my life for Jesus. One of my dreams is to become a mechanic and a pastor. I want to work really hard at school so that I can make my dreams come true.
~ Hugo, age 13
Thanks to you, I have learned more about Jesus and I know that he was crucified for my sins. Thanks to you, I have a dream. I want to be an architect and an athlete.
~ Eliseo, age 12
I want to tell you that I have learned many things, specifically about Jesus Christ my Savior. I believe that God has a very special experience prepared for me. I have a new family here at Chispas of Change.
~ Dayareli, age 14
When I first started studying at Chispas of Change, I didn’t know much about some of my subjects. But the teachers showed me what I needed to know, and now I know more than before. If I have problems with a subject, my teacher comes and helps me because she knows how to explain things better. Also, we never get bored at Chispas because they always make us do activities and so we have fun and learn at the same time.
~ Delmy, age 17
My dream is to know more about God, and to go to the university and study architecture. Then, I want to sponsor a child at Chispas of Change, and also I would like to help orphaned children. I am very thankful because God has blessed me so much.
~ Jenifer, age 16
We know that God has good, good plans for our students and their future generations! Thank you for walking alongside us each step of the way. May God bless you for faithfully praying and giving!
Love & Blessings,
